Larger organizations will want to review SimNet 8 in either a hosted or installed solution with automatic HR data imports and a tailored portal. This is a fully web-based solution to manage ideas or recognition. Smaller organizations may be better served by a hosted version SimNet 8 on a shared server. We are a member of Microsoft?s Empower for ISVs ? our idea management software utilizes Microsoft web server technology and runs on a SQL Server database.
SIM Release History

SimNet 8 Universal Idea Management Software
We created a completely new product specifically designed for large multi-site organizations to manage their employee involvement activities globally. We used our deep knowledge of employee involvement along with significant customer research to come up with the best practice solution manage ideas, recognition, teaming, corrective action and safety programs in your organization.
Runs on a MS SQL Server database.
Integrated e-mail system.
The user interface was completely redesigned based on extensive research of what employee involvement professionals need in the new millennium. It uses a web based on-line module for all users: administrators, submitters, team leaders, facilitators, evaluators, managers, and local coordinators. It has just the right amount of features so training time is limited for these less frequent users.
Savings, costs and award calculation sheets are tailored to fit your process (custom payout can be integrated).
Completely new interactive reporting system with enhanced query options. Every query or report can be stored and custom reports can be created using Crystal Reports or other customer specified reporting tools.
Three tier, 32 bit application.
Software functionality can be defined by each user, group, facility or division meaning each location can have their own 'look'. Multiple programs can be easily managed in a single central database - suggestions, continuous improvement, cost reductions, corrective actions, safety, teaming, and recognition. For instance, each facility can have data entry forms to fit their needs and they can additionally manage multiple programs in the same central database (each with their own separate entry forms).
Compatible with Windows 95, 98, 2000, NT XP Vista & Windows 7 operating systems.
Multi-lingual and multi-currency - supports global solutions.

SimNet 8.2 Updates
New search features added - automatic text search and Quick Search for tags/keywords. Plus stored user searches can be defined by where they work (e.g., all implemented ideas for my area).
Improved linkages to customer portal pages. Additional features were included to support custom tailored portal pages for customers (e.g., graphs and statistics). Most of these features will require nominal time for TQS staff to set up for you - call for a quote.
SimNet Store - this allows users to redeem awards. For example points can be redeemed for gift cards.
Tag clouds integrated for showing bottlenecks in your idea scheme.
New Award report that suppports redeeming points into cash awards.
Additional statisics reports calculations created - our flexibile multiple time period statistics report feature gives you more power to create the statistics you need. If only one column of data exists, data can rotate similar to the concept of a pivot table.
New Administrator tools to manage keywords/campaigns/tags, groups and organizations.
HR import tool improved.
New SimNet Automation tools to support automatically re-routing ideas.
