Our SimNet product allows organizations to manage their suggestion system across the intranet or internet using a web site for entry of ideas, review, idea update, queries or reports. This is the wave of the future in managing idea based processes such as suggestion systems or continuous improvement. It significantly reduces administration data entry time while improving satisfaction of participants (they can enter their own ideas and verify idea status).

We have found for organizations where people do not have a computer, kiosks can be set up in key areas such as break rooms. A common barrier in the past also was that people didn't have experience on computers. This has dramatically changed as more and more people also have computers at home. The key is to not force people to see computers as the only way to enter ideas. The organization should still have paper forms for those that prefer that method. We have seen customers with on-line systems in manufacturing actually see an increase in participation after setting up our SIM software on-line.

All users wishing to access SIM-Net need is an Internet Explorer or Netscape browser (version 4.0 or newer). NOTE: The edit capabilities for a coordinator or administrator are only available with an Internet Explorer browser. They also need access to their organizational intranet (or the internet). SIM-Net is designed to run on Windows based web servers such as Microsoft IIS.
