Below are software downloads for the SIM-Integrated Idea Management (SIM-IIM) software version 6. Some software updates as well as full installs of the software are not posted here and must be requested from from customer service (Jim @ 928.527.0002). Please review the Technical Documents section for updated information on the SIM software. Full user manuals must also be directly requested from TQS.

Note: SIM 6 has been discontinued. This page is maintained to support those customers still using this platform.

SIM-Integrated Idea Management is our workhorse software system to effectively manage ideas, corrective actions, team activities, recognition and safety programs. SIM version 6.5 was released in January of 2002.

SIM 6.5 User Manual Update (Final Version 4/03 -ZIP 2.9 Meg) This reviews changes in SIM version 6.5 and is an addendum to the full SIM user manual. If you require a copy of the full SIM User Manual, please call technical support.

Creating graphs with SIM. (PDF 92 KB) Note: For versions 6.4 and earlier. SIM version 6.5 has integrated graphing that directly links to Microsoft Excel (see User Manual Update for version 6.5).

Using Word Processors to create letters with SIM. (PDF 68 KB) This is for SIM version 6.4 and earlier. Please review the SIM 6.5 User Manual Update for a newer and easier method using Microsoft Office Automation.

SIM Version 6.6.26 (Final Release - 5/06 - 2.6 Meg) This is the final release of SIM version 6.6 with all updates and patches included in it.  The hndlib/zlib.dll files are included to support creation of PDF report outputs, make sure to install them as well.  You will need to rebuild index files - we recommend from SIM-Utilities (simutil32.exe) and run the Delete All Index Files option.

SIM Version 6.5.17 (Final Release - 8/03 - 2.1 Meg) This is the final release of SIM version 6.5 with all updates and patches included in it. We are now working on version 6.6 - beta copies are available. For large enterprisewide solutions we recommend moving to our SIM-Enterprise 7.0 (call for details or a demo).

NOTE: You Must have a current SIM support contract as well as a full working copy of SIM installed to download and install the 6.5.17 update.

Custom Report Templates (SIM Version 6.5 - 90K) SIM Version 6.5 supports custom report templates for the Query, Tracking (Routing) Status, Management Status & Award Summary Reports. Downloading these files and inserting them in your SIM data location will activate this feature. By changing the REPORT FORMAT to one of the custom templates (at the bottom of the list), you can change that template or create a new one by SAVING AS a new name. We recommend printing a copy of that report to have handy when updating items on the form. Please refer to the SIM 6.5 User Manual Update for more information on using these features.

SIM-Net Version 6.6.21 (Beta - 4/06 - 800K) This is a beta copy of our new SIM-Net software. You must already have SIM-Net installed and running before loading this. It may also be necessary to re-register the simnet.exe COM object. You may need the updated DLL files as well which are available from this link SIM-Net 6.6.21 DLLs (if loading WC.DLL it may be necessary to restart IIS to remove it from memory so it can be overwritten). This update may have newer HTML template files (with .wc extension) over your version - click here to download the latest html templates (that go into the \HTML folder below the main SIM-Net installation). If you have customized existing HTML templates, do not directly load these updates until we can verify changes that need to be made to bring your files current. Please contact tech support if there are any questions before uploading these files.

SIM-Net Version 6.6 (Beta - 10/03 - 800K) This is a beta copy of our new SIM-Net software. You must already have SIM-Net installed and running before loading this. It may also be necessary to re-register the simnet.exe COM object.

Below are specific downloads for the SIM-Integrated Idea Management (SIM-IIM) software specifically used by our customer Delphi Automotive. These downloads are not intended for use by other SIM customers and may cause errors since these are updates and not a full installation of the customized software for Delphi Automotive.

Delphi SIM Upgrade from Version 6.5 to 6.6 (Release - 5/06 - 3MB) This includes the files to upgrade your system from version 6.5 to 6.6.26. The zip file contains a Delphi QNSP Upgrading to SIM 6.6 Word document that explains the steps to upgrade. It includes the new Delphi Custom Report and Corporate Report templates (so you do not need to download the below items). If questions, please contact tech support before loading.

Delphi Custom Report (Release - 4/05 - 54K) This is the latest custom application softare that needs to be unzipped & installed with the other SIM application files (all SIM users must be logged off when loading). Normally this is the \APPS folder below your data (select the FILE - SYSTEM STATUS in SIM to identify the SIM Apps location). This is compatible with the latest SIM version 6.6.
NOTE: You Must have the lastest 6.6.26 update loaded as well.

Delphi Custom Report (Release - 9/03) This is a previous release compatible with SIM 6.5 and 6.6.
NOTE: You Must have the 6.5.17 update loaded as well and do not run this with version 6.6!

Delphi Custom Report (Release - 7/03) This is the previous release of the custom report application files. This is compatible with SIM 6.5 and do not run this with version 6.6! 

Delphi Corporate Report Template (Release - 9/05) This creates the special 1-26 line items on the corporate report (updated in this version to include lines 25 & 26). If somehow the settings are reset on your system, download this file into the data location of SIM. If you don't know this location, select the FILE - SYSTEM STATUS in SIM to identify the SIM Data location path.

Delphi Configuration File (Release - 6/03) This is the standard configuration file for setting up SIM for Delphi specific needs. Normally you should not need to reload this file. Additionally if you want to include a logo on letters, the file will require a modification to activate that feature for your site (remove the 'REM' in front of the line: REM gc_letlogo = dpath+'simlett.bmp)' ).

Delphi Training Updates (Release - 4/03 -DOC 1 MEG) The April training in Flint, MI included information on properly handling REVIEWS (appeals/additional pays). It also covers how to set SIM up for the corporate report in handling reviews for the average days to implement.
